Jeffrey Schenfeld is a candidate for Vice President at Large on the FEARLESS SLATE, showcasing his unwavering commitment to Teamsters leadership. His journey with the Teamsters began in 1996 at UPS in Uniondale, NY, where he started as a part-timer and rose to become a full-time package car driver.

After relocating to Texas in 2006 and briefly working as a TCD, Schenfeld returned to full-time package car driving in 2012, proudly representing the Dallas Hub as a Texas Teamster. Since then, he has actively served Local 767 members as a Union Steward and Business Agent, consistently demonstrating his dedication to union democracy and steadfastly standing by his fellow workers.

Schenfeld believes that his purpose lies in helping, empowering, and serving the membership. He strives to deliver a union that not only has its members' backs but also fosters true worker empowerment. His leadership vision is rooted in the principle that every Teamster deserves unwavering support and representation.

Candidate for Vice President At-Large

F. Christophe Silvera has served as the Secretary-Treasurer and Principal Officer of Teamsters Local 808 in Long Island City, New York, since January 1990, making him the longest-serving principal officer in the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He is now a candidate for Vice President at Large on the FEARLESS SLATE, championing union democracy and worker empowerment.

Silvera began his career in 1982 by organizing his Conrail co-workers to join the Teamsters. Under his leadership, Local 808 has emerged as a beacon of labor activism and militancy, representing a diverse array of workers. He is renowned for securing significant contract improvements and negotiating a groundbreaking 'shutdown agreement' with Swingline.

In 1999, he made history as the first elected chairman of the Teamsters National Black Caucus, and he played a pivotal role in persuading President Bush to rescind an Executive Order that impacted post-Katrina rebuilding efforts. Silvera’s proven track record and unwavering commitment to advocating for workers make him a formidable candidate for leadership within the Teamsters.

Candidate for Vice President At-Large

Jeffrey Vaughan serves as Secretary-Treasurer, Business Agent, and Principal Officer of Teamsters Local No. 29 in Verona, VA. He is a candidate for Vice President at Large on the FEARLESS SLATE, bringing 33 years of experience with UPS to the table. His career has encompassed various roles, from Preloader to Full-Time Package Car Driver in Charlottesville, VA, where he has also dedicated over 25 years as a Shop Steward.

As he campaigns for Vice President at Large, Vaughan is resolutely committed to promoting union democracy and advocating for the rights of every Teamster. His vision includes ensuring company accountability, restoring union unity, and enhancing wages, pensions, and healthcare benefits to empower workers. With a focus on building a stronger, more equitable union, Vaughan stands ready to champion the interests of all members and drive meaningful change within the Brotherhood.

Candidate for Western Region Vice President

Michael Sparks is proudly running for the position of Western Region Vice President on the FEARLESS SLATE. A dedicated member of Teamsters Local 399, Brother Sparks brings over 25 years of invaluable experience within the Teamsters. His career is characterized by hands-on leadership and an unwavering commitment to union values and member representation.

Raised in a strong union family, he obtained his Class A license through the Teamsters Training Fund, launching his career as a transportation driver in the motion picture and television industry. Throughout his tenure, Sparks has held nearly every position in transportation, advancing from driver to overseeing large-scale logistics and basecamp operations on major productions both across the United States and internationally.

His extensive experience managing complex operations and fostering direct relationships with rank-and-file members fuels his dedication to union democracy, contract enforcement, and fearless representation for all Teamsters. As he campaigns for Western Region Vice President, Michael Sparks is committed to ensuring that every member’s voice is heard and respected.

Candidate for Vice President At-Large

Michael Moxley serves as the President of Teamsters Local 29 in Virginia and is a candidate for Vice President At-Large. He stepped into this role out of frustration with the persistent neglect of members' voices, unresolved grievances, and the inaction against UPS management. Since taking office, Moxley has dedicated himself to restoring transparency, holding management accountable, and ensuring that every member's voice is not only heard but valued. 

He embodies the principles of union democracy and worker empowerment, and now he is bringing that same fierce commitment to the national stage. Moxley is challenging the current leadership of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, advocating for genuine accountability and member-driven leadership that prioritizes the needs and aspirations of all Teamsters.

Candidate for Southern Region Vice President

Leonard Stoehr is a dedicated 31-year Teamster and proud member of Teamsters Local No. 728 in Atlanta, Georgia. He is running for Southern Region Vice President on the FEARLESS SLATE, passionately emphasizing the importance of union democracy and worker empowerment. 

With over three decades of experience in Teamsters leadership, Leonard’s extensive background includes 11 years as a union representative at Teamsters Local 206 in Oregon, as well as serving as an IBT Western Representative for Passenger Transportation. His commitment to the union is unwavering, and he stands firmly behind Richard Hooker and the entire Fearless Slate in their mission to strengthen the union and advocate fiercely for its members. 

Leonard Stoehr is ready to bring his experience and dedication to the forefront, ensuring that every voice within the Teamsters is heard and respected.

Gale Hescott is a proud member of Teamsters Local 657, with over a decade of dedicated service to the union. For nine of those years, she has actively served as a Shop Steward at UPS, advocating for her fellow workers.

Sister Gale firmly believes that workers deserve more than just a paycheck—they deserve respect, protection, and a meaningful voice on the job. She stands resolutely for fair wages, safe working conditions, and strong contracts that prioritize people over profit. 

To her, solidarity is not merely a word; it is a call to action. Gale is committed to organizing, speaking up, and fostering a sense of unity among workers. Together, she believes we can build strength, defend our rights, and fight for a future where every worker is treated with dignity.

Candidate for Western Region Vice President

Eric Johnson has been a Teamster since 1984. His journey in Teamsters leadership began during summers and winter breaks on the docks of Jersey, where he worked for companies such as CF, ABF, Yellow, and New Penn. In 1993, he secured a full-time position with ABF. His career path took him west to Montana in 1995, where he found his permanent home with UPS as a full-time Feeder Driver on December 26, 1995.

For over a decade, Johnson has served as a Shop Steward, advocating for union democracy and fighting for workers' rights. His involvement with Local 190 has addressed significant issues, including operational changes and the critical fight against the use of cameras in the workplace. Moreover, his commitment extends beyond the workplace; he has helped organize blood drives and raised funds for the local food bank, believing that a strong union is built on worker empowerment and a vibrant community.

Now, as a candidate on the FEARLESS SLATE for Western Region Vice President, Eric Johnson is ready to elevate the fight for workers' rights to the next level. He pledges to bring the same hard work, dedication, and passion that have defined his career to the leadership of this union. Candidate for Western Region Vice President

Brother Hannibal Aguilar is a candidate for Western Region Vice President on the FEARLESS SLATE. His journey in the labor movement began in East Los Angeles in 1996 as a Package Handler at UPS, and he is now a dedicated Package Car Driver at the Olympic Hub in Downtown Los Angeles.

Aguilar’s commitment to the Teamsters was solidified during the pivotal 1997 UPS strike, where he stood on the front lines. This experience launched him into a career of advocacy, culminating in 24 years of service as a Shop Steward for Local 396. He has consistently taken on tough challenges, including early involvement in the Teamster Amazon Campaign, where he worked to halt the construction of an Amazon facility in a Los Angeles suburb.

A staunch believer in the power of united labor, Hannibal demonstrated his unwavering support during the 2023 Hollywood strikes, using his lunch break to walk the WGA and SAG-AFTRA picket lines daily in solidarity. His career has been marked by deep involvement in political and union organizing, driven by a mission to educate others on the value of union solidarity. He firmly believes that informed and united workers are vital for securing fair wages, safe working conditions, and a strong future for the labor movement.
